Solid vertical bamboo carbonized color flooring |
In carbonized finish, bamboo is treated under high temperature, high humidity and high pressure to degrade the carbohydrates, proteins and other organic compound inside the bamboo. During the process, fungi and insects are killed and the bamboo will be mildew proof.
After degradation of nutrients under high temperature and pressure, the bamboo shows coffee colour. In pro-duction, strips of bamboo are laid vertically and pressed by high pressure. The carbonized bamboo flooring in coffee colour looks elegant with clear grains. |
